Summer has a smell. Not one specific thing, but a feeling warm, fresh, alive and a little bit joyful. And this year, we've been thinking a lot about how to bring that feeling into your home through scent.

It started with two very simple things making elderflower cordial from the elder tree in our back garden and a lifelong love of a good gooseberry crumble fresh from the oven. Those bright, familiar, joyful smells that take you straight back to something warm and good.
Compote opens with a burst of rhubarb, grapefruit, lychee, and gooseberry bright and vibrant from the very first sniff. It moves into a soft heart of plum, elderflower and peach before finishing with a playful base of candyfloss and raspberry that lingers sweetly and warmly.
