Milis launched in March 2020 after 14 months of research and experimentation. The more I read and watched, the more I discovered about the details of making and that many candles contain harmful ingredients. My house would always have a candle burning somewhere in the evening, so this really resonated with me. Getting to know the candle making process better led me to seek out more natural alternatives and the idea for Milis was born.
my soy wax candles and melts
Milis is a creative small business based in Waterford, Ireland and run by me, Fiona. I specialise in handmade soy wax candles and wax melts inspired by my family and love of baking. These natural candles are handmade from start to finish at my kitchen table at home. All Milis products use natural, recyclable, re-usable or ethically sourced materials and I will always strive to find these as locally as possible.
All of my candles are hand-poured in small batches at home using natural soy wax.
